3 Days/ 2 Nights Tarangire National Park Safari takes you to Tarangire National Park. This park got its name from River Tarangire which runs cross the middle of its terrain. Tarangire National Park is primarily renowned for its numerous elephants, its baobab tree which can store as much as 300l liters of water as well as the baboon population, is situated just 114 kilometers, from Arusha city on a nice tarmac road.
River Tarangire, from which this park got its name, charmingly attracts large numbers of migrant wild animals to its lasting water throughout the dry months going through the region. Between the months of July and November, this park is habitat to thousands of animals including wildebeests plus zebras that move from the Maasai steppe as well as from as far as Lake Natron’s shores.
Among the animals you will see within the park all year round are: cheetahs, Elephants, hyenas, buffaloes, leopards, hartebeests, lions plus elands, which however are in larger numbers during the dry months.
Day 1: Arusha Town – Drive to Tarangire National Park
Today you will transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park where you will have lunch. because of its permanent source of water, this park has almost guaranteed large wildlife herds which makes it ideal for game viewing of animals such as elephants, cheetahs, some tree climbing lions, leopards plus hyenas.
This park in addition hosts very many uncommon wildlife species such as the gerenuk, eland, oryx plus the kudu. Your accommodation will be provided in Tarangire Sopa Lodge, a peaceful oasis looking over the green rolling plains.

Day 2: Explore Tarangire National Park
Today you will have two game drives one in the Morning and the other in the afternoon as you explore the beautiful terrain comprised of extensive savannah grasslands scattered with the umbrella acacia trees plus the huge Baobab trees.
You will be able to see the numerous Elephants here that comprise large herds of as many as 600 elephants, see the thousands of wildebeests, zebras, elands, hartebeests, buffalos plus oryx that migrate from the arid Masai steppe to River Tarangire River as they look for water especially in the dry months. The park has a record of 550 bird species in addition to the Tree-climbing pythons.

Following breakfast drive back to the city of Arusha where you will arrive at around lunch time.
